Zegary te można zobaczyć m.in. w Wieży Farnej, w dawnym gmachu Urzędu Miasta, a także w gmachu sądu.

The Muzeum Rzemiosła w Krośnie is a museum located in the secessionist tenement house in Krosno, Poland, which was established in 1989 [0][1]. The museum’s permanent exhibition presents the history of various crafts, including carpentry, blacksmithing, clockmaking (including exhibits related to the history of the building itself), tailoring, weaving, shoemaking, saddlery, tanning, hairdressing, and fashion [1][4]. The museum also houses a collection of historical guild certificates and documents [4].

The museum was founded in the early 1980s by members of the Cech Rzemiosł Różnych in Krosno, including Józef Cisowski and Tadeusz Bochenek. In 1980, the Cech Rzemiosł Różnych requested that the city authorities transfer the tenement house to them, and after the tenants were evicted, the renovation began in 1984 and lasted until 1987. Many of the renovation works were carried out by local craftsmen. The museum opened in 1990, and since then, it has been an object that is open year-round, except for Mondays from October 1 to April 30, with a paid admission fee [1][4].

The museum’s permanent exhibition, titled “The History of Crafts in Southeast Poland,” features exhibits from the 18th to the 20th centuries, including tools and products from various crafts [2]. The exhibition is divided into six rooms, and the exhibits are mainly from Krosno and the surrounding area. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also offers temporary exhibitions and educational programs for preschool and school-age children [4].

The tenement house that houses the museum was built for Michał Mięsowicz, a clockmaker and clocktower factory owner, in the early 20th century. From 1901 to 1938, the building housed the First National Tower Clock Factory in Krosno, which produced about 280 clock mechanisms. The building is also known as the “house with a clock” due to the clock tower on its roof [0][1].

One of the main advantages of visiting the Muzeum Rzemiosła w Krośnie is the opportunity to see how the workshops of the past looked and what tools were used in various crafts. The museum’s exhibits provide a unique insight into the traditional crafts of Southeast Poland and the evolution of the techniques and tools used in these crafts. The museum’s collection of guild certificates and documents is also a valuable resource for researchers interested in the history of crafts in the region [4].
